Conditions We Treat
At Solaris Integrative Psychiatry, we treat the following mental health conditions using ketamine and Spravato (esketamine).

Treatment-Resistant Depression
Sometimes standard treatment for depression isn't enough. Individuals who have tried at least 2 antidepressant medications and talk therapy, and still struggle with depression, may suffer from treatment-resistant depression (TRD). An estimated 30% of individuals who have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder qualify for the diagnosis of treatment-resistant depression.

Depression
Depression affects 1 in 4 American adults and is one of the leading causes of disability in the world. It can cause persistent feelings of sadness, decreased motivation and energy, and can even change behavior patterns like sleep and appetite. Depression greatly affects relationships and the ability to function in all areas of life.

Anxiety
Anxiety is a normal life experience, and is an important function. However, for many people, anxiety becomes a constant in their life and can become debilitating. For some people, it can lead to avoidance of life experiences and can rob a person of their ability to enjoy life to its fullest extent. Nearly one third of all Americans will experience an anxiety disorder at some point in their life.

PTSD
Most adults have experienced some form of trauma in their lifetime. Approximately 6 in 100 people will develop post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as a result of trauma. For an individual with PTSD, trauma can become an engrained part of their functioning, and can lead to fear-based responses. This may include nightmares, flashbacks, sleep disturbances, and a change in the way you engage in your environment.

OCD
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a condition in which individuals feel compelled to engage in specific behaviors in an effort to relieve their anxiety. This can diminish one's ability to function in day-to-day life. OCD affects 2.5 million adults in the US.
